Accessing file 318: known active separatist resistance and terror groups in the United Democratic States of North America.

Introduction: whilst most people are happy to live within our glorious socialist state there are some people throughout the country who despite all its benefits reject socialism and wish to change our country for the worst. There are many different groups who fight for these ideals each with varying tactics and strategies. This file contains some of the more prominent rebel groups found within the Democratic States of America. These groups tactics vary and have been known to either aid or fight one another however all are extremely dangerous and any members of which should be approached with caution and if at all possible any suspects or members should be taken alive for interrogation.

The North American monarchist alliance: whilst the political collapses in the United States during the early 2020s lead to many socialist movements of secession and power grabs. There were still some who moved towards more conservative ideals. The North American monarchist alliance is one of them. The alliance is made up of many a number of political parties and special interest groups across many North American nations who are working together for their shared goal of monarchies for their individual states. Started in 2030 by Charles A. Coulombe in 2030, the alliance gathered support from other monarchist groups and now gains financial and military support from the Federation. What makes the alliance so difficult to defeat is its lack of a central command as ultimately it is still an alliance of individual parties and militias which form and disband quickly making it hard for law enforcement to properly deal with them. However some suggest this group may eventually fracture due to its contradicting ideals between some members however that unfortunately for us will not happen too soon

The American royalist army: the American royalist army unlike the alliance is solely based on recreating the United States however as a catholic autocratic monarchy. This group is also based on the ideals of Charles A. Coulombe, however they believe that ultimately they would perform much better outside of the alliance than in it. This doesn't mean that they don't work together however and of course they are also supplied by the Federation. Unlike the alliance the royalist army is a much more structured chain of command and is made up of much more well-trained professional soldiers and even has hijacked military equipment and vehicles which makes them a danger to be reckoned with.

The Canadian loyalists: this is just a general name for a multitude of militant groups in the Canadian areas of the states who wish to liberate Canada and return it to its position as either a Commonwealth realm or having a member of the British Royal family becoming the new king. Each group has vastly different ways of achieving their set goals with peaceful protests and boycotts on one hand and terrorism and even suicide bombing on the other.

The Canadian national army: the Canadian national army just like the royalists that were previously mentioned are also fighting for an independent Canada however unlike the loyalists they wish to proclaim a independent nationalist Republic free from both Washington and London. The national army is very militarist and uses many terror tactics and is believed to be a member of the American fascist alliance.

The national league of America:The National League of America is a clerical fascist group that first emerged out of the economic crash of the 2020s. The league claims to seeks to end poverty and to try to make as close to a Utopia as possible and was known for its anti-Islamic and anti-paedophilic ideals and its links to Christian identity. Since the creation of the Democratic States, the movement has gone underground. Its leadership is highly secretive though its current head is believed to be the descendant of its founder and is leading a hit-and-run campaign throughout the south and midwest. It is also known to be a member of the North American fascist alliance.

The Siberian front: the Siberian front is a recent alliance made up of numerous Siberian nationalist movements with the aim of creating either a pan- Siberian state or a loose alliance of Siberian peoples. They have used hit-and-run and guerrilla tactics to attack forces not only of the proletariat alliance but also those of the socialist world Republic held territories of Siberia. Due to their much better knowledge of the new Alaskan landscape it means that it is incredibly hard for our forces to deal with them despite the fact their numbers are believed to be quite low however this may not be accurate. It is believed the front have been approached by the Federation however have rejected any offers of support the exact reason for this is still under investigation.

The Patriots: the Patriots are made up of the descendants former United States government officials, defectors of the Democratic States army, and local dissidents who wish to resurrect the former United States of America based on the ideals of the founding fathers and the constitution and all this to avert North America back to its pre-collapse state. The Patriots are one of the most popular militant groups and their Minutemen militias hit-and-run tactics are well renowned. The Patriots also one of the most widespread groups with known cells all across the continental United States and even former overseas territories. They have even been known to spill over into some of the other members of the proletariat Republics to aid in their own Democratic groups. While the Patriots do believe in ideal some cells have been known to work with other militia groups which may indicate each cell may be affected by the opinions of those who fight in it.

Rio Grande royalists: during the collapse Mexico experience great revolts including the 2nd session of Rio Grande however due to a massive influx of more conservative elements of Mexican society with the proclamation of the now-defunct Mexican socialist republic in 2038 led to the creation of the kingdom of Rio Grande. The kingdom managed to maintain its independence however the area was eventually annexed by the Democratic States and then was later ravished by fierce fighting during the great red war. With the War Z the borders were settled and Rio Grande still remained within Democratic States borders. This has led to large uprisings and large and insurgent campaigns making the region one of the most volatile in the whole country. Due to this the border between the Democratic States and the 3rd Mexican Empire is very porous allowing for large smuggling operations which means the rebels can get supplied very easily.
